We ve had this playhouse up through a windy alaska summer and winter through rainstorms and even with lots of snow. Building this single sloped roof shed was an excellent learning experience. 39 8 x 8 lean to shed. On other homes only a section of the structure uses a shed roof.

Preplanning was essential to the build. After the shed section was framed i started on the balcony. Since the playhouse roof is slanted downward from front to back the front wall was at seven feet higher than the back and sides which were all the same height at six feet. Cut the piece of 2 4 left over after cutting the 63 roof ridge so it fits right under the ridge on the front of the playhouse.
