If it wuz me i d probably be inclined to mix a bit of putty with boiled linseed oil to thin it and pack that in the crack.
Fix cracked window glazing.
Use a caulking gun and squeeze a thin layer of window glazing compound in the primed grooves.
First remove the old glazing compound.
Applying tape to the crack should temporarily stop the window from cracking further.
Mooshing if that s a word new glazing putty into the cracks would work i suppose if the new putty got deep enough into the crack.
Push the glazier s points into the frame with a putty knife.
Press a rope of glazing compound putty around the opening with your fingers and a putty knife to make a bed for the new pane.
Put on heavy gloves and eye protection place a cloth over the broken pane and tap it with a hammer.
Apply the tape so that it extends past the crack on all sides and press it firmly against the glass.
Get a roll of masking tape and cut two pieces that are large enough to cover the entire crack or hole in your window.

Thoroughly clean the break flushing out any potential debris with an eyedropper before applying tape to the back of the crack.

If the glazing is still in place and looks good for part of the window it can stay but it s best to completely remove any glazing that looks chipped or loose because it can prevent the new glazing from adhering as it should.
This will keep the adhesive from leaking out the opposite side of the window.
